Mom Overture

Someone from my writing group sent this to me.  It's so funny and oh-so true.  Check out the Mom Overture .  Pretty entertaining stufff.

Also, here's Mary Hanson's book trailer of How To Save Your Tail. And if that's not enough, take a gander at fellow chapter book writer, Bruce Hale's latest Chet Gecko trailer .  I know what you're thinking...Melvin Beederman is behind the times.  Not to worry.  Look for a Melvin Beederman trailer—coming soon to a website near you.

Yeah, Priscilla, I had the same reaction...and I'm only a dad.

Wow. The mom thing brought little tears to my eyes!! That doesn't happen every day (but the stuff she sang about does)!

Greg Trine is a truly inspirational writer and speaker. When he visited my class, he captivated my students with stories of his challenges and successes as a writer, inspiring them with lessons of perseverance and encouragement. The activities he worked on with them showed how they could embody traits of character just as noble and just as funny as Melvin Beederman's. He was very entertaining, and the evil laugh contest was a hoot!
