An Unpoetic Boy During Poetry Month

If you haven't already heard, April is poetry month.  So what's a body to do?  Write something that rhymes, of course.  Not an easy task for such an unpoetic boy.  Let me just say that I did give it the ol' college try...but everything turned out to be about mice who were nice, mouses who lived in houses, and nuns with great buns (that last one was a YA poem).

If you want to check out some great poetry, take this unpoetic boy's advice and check out Gregory K's blog.  Greg is posting an original poem every day during the month of April.  Nice job, Greg.  Until next time...the other Greg

Okay, I'll try to do something poetic before the end of the month. Greg

Thanks for the linkie. I'd be willing to bet, other Greg, that your poetry (rhyming or not) is mighty funny. Maybe we can get ya to share it before the month is out. Or the year. Or the millenium?

Greg Trine is a truly inspirational writer and speaker. When he visited my class, he captivated my students with stories of his challenges and successes as a writer, inspiring them with lessons of perseverance and encouragement. The activities he worked on with them showed how they could embody traits of character just as noble and just as funny as Melvin Beederman's. He was very entertaining, and the evil laugh contest was a hoot!
