I just received my reader's copy of Melvin Beederman book 5, The Fake Cape Caper, which will be out this fall. I'm not sure how to post photos on this blog yet, but as soon as I do, I'll let you take a gander. In this book the Spaz brothers show up to engage in all things sinister and devious. In other news, I will be participating in the Children's Authors Festival this Saturday at Cal State Channel Islands, where I will be one of two children's book authors presenting. The university was once the home of Camarillo State Mental Hospital. This makes sense to me, since all children's book writers have to be a little bit "nuts." Nuts in a good way, of course. If you're in the Ventura County area, stop by this Saturday at the festival. I will be presenting at 10:00 AM, followed by Lisze Bechtold . My presentation will be capped of with an evil laugh contast and reader's theater performed by kids and college students. Greg
